Repair Service: We charge $90 + HST for the diagnostic of computers and laptops. For the iPhone and iPad, it will be $50 + HST.
Note: Diagnostic fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.
Data Loss: Kindly note that, during our intensive diagnostics, mechanical failure to your hard disk or other components may occur without any warning.
A case of virus and malware infections can also arise which can damage your data and cause unpredictable problems.
The customer is responsible for backing up all the data to their personal Computers. Macguys are not responsible for any kind of data loss, picture, information or programming of your system. Macguys offers a data recovery service for customers who require a backup and are not able to do it themselves.
In some cases, the Operating System needs to be re-installed which includes wiping the hard disk. Before wiping or re-installing the hard disk, we ask you to keep the backup of your data. Data backup is not always successful, it depends on the status of the storage media.
Our timings of Repair and Diagnostics: We aim to deliver our services as promptly as possible. We try to resolve your issue within 3-5 business days. In some cases, it may take longer than usual. If the repair has to take a longer time, we will notify you.
We require your personal details like: name, address, phone number, email address and administrative password details of your device to perform any repair service.
Warranty: Macguys offer a 3-month warranty for all their repair services. If the same problem arises even after fixing the issue, either we’ll try to fix it at no extra cost, or if we are unable to fix the problem we’ll assure you the refund of payment for the services performed.
The refund is not valid if there is a fault in other components after servicing the device, or any faults caused due to improper use of software, downloaded material, virus and malware infections, accidental damage or improper use of the device.
Kindly note that Standard charges will be applied if we’ll arrange the courier delivery. You are responsible for returning it at your own expense.
Confidentiality: Subjected to a confidentiality agreement or as required by the law. Macguys agrees not to disclose any kind of information or data files supplied, stored or recovered from the client’s device.
Abandoned devices: It will be your responsibility to collect any device that is ready for collection within 30 days after the repair service, as failure to do so, will result in your device being recycled or disposed of.
Note: Once your device is ready for collection, our customer service representative will give you a call. We will not be held responsible for any kind of inaccuracy in the details provided by you during the booking. It is mandatory for you to check your details in the receipt and in the email.
